Obituary of Franklin C. Trusso

Franklin C. Trusso, 73, of 1033 North Main St. Jamestown, passed away at 3:40 a.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2016, in W.C.A. Hospital. A lifelong area resident, he was born March 22, 1943 in Jamestown, NY, the son of the late Carl and Angeline Liuzzo Trusso. Franklin was a graduate of Jamestown High School and was a communicant of Holy Apostles Parish at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Before his retirement, he was employed by Wegmans for several years where he enjoyed visiting and talking to the customers. He was also an avid baseball fan and his favorite team was the Pittsburgh Pirates. He loved traveling to the baseball games enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving are his estranged wife, the former Karen J. Estus, a daughter, Jody L. Stewart of Jamestown, two sons, Martin Billick of Jamestown, Kevin Billick (Brittany Bigelow) of Gerry, NY, 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph A. Trusso and two sisters, Sarah Trusso, Carol Jean Trusso. A graveside service will be held at 1:15 p.m. Monday in Holy Cross Cemetery. The Rev. Dennis W. Mende, pastor of Holy Apostles Parish will officiate.
