Obituary of John E. Kibler

John E. "Jack" Kibler, 79, of 15 Laurie Lane, Jamestown, passed away at 7:05 a.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2016, in his home. A lifelong area resident, he was born March 13, 1937 in Jamestown, NY, the son of Frederick G. and Mary Moran Kibler. Before his retirement, he was employed as a skilled sheet metal worker with the family business, Julin & Kibler Sheet Metal Company. He was a communicant of Holy Apostles Parish at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church where he served as a Eucharistic Minister for several years. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council # 926, the Ingjald Lodge # 65 Independent Order of the Vikings, and the Lakewood Rod & Gun Club. Surviving is his wife of 47 years, the former Barbara L. Roselli whom he married December 7, 1968 , two sisters, Margaret D. Kibler Kelly , Lois A. Christy both of Jamestown, a brother, David L. Kibler of Hudson, NY, as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a twin sister Mary Elizabeth Kibler and a brother Frederick Kibler. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 24, 2016, at Holy Apostles Parish Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Dennis W. Mende, pastor will be celebrant. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2016, in the Lind Funeral Home where a Christian Wake Service will be led at 2:45 p.m. Sunday.
