Obituary of Sandra L. Mabee

Sandra L. Mabee, 73, of 2123 Southwestern Drive, Lakewood, formerly of 145 Midgley Street, Jamestown, died Thursday October 20, 2016, in WCA Hospital. She was born June 14, 1943, in Corry, PA, a daughter of the late William and Mabel Upperman Swiderski. She was a 1961 graduate of Jamestown High School. Prior to her retirement she was employed by Chautauqua Hardware for 34 years as Production and Inventory Control Assistant Manager. She was a member of the ?Kiantone Fire Department Auxiliary. For many years she bowled in the Monday Night Ladies League at Jamestown Bowling Company having served at various times ? as president, treasurer and secretary. She enjoyed playing blackjack and bingo, reading, working on? puzzles and searching for treasures with her husband using their ? metal detectors?, but above all else she loved time spent with family. Surviving are her husband Bruce Mabee, whom she married July 1, 1961; three children Gary (Lorri) Mabee of Frewsburg, Kimberly (Kim) Sager of Columbus, IN and Tammy (Shawn) Ericson of ? Windermere, FL?; six grandchildren Jason Sager, Jennifer Duncan, David and Rebecca Mabee and Steven and Kelly Bartoldus; three great grandchildren Zaiden, Xavier and Adali Duncan and four sisters Janet (Nick) Schepis, Darlene Johnson, Peggy (Brian) Hill, and Debra (Mike) Haller all of Jamestown. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Richard Swiderski. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. Pastor Ronald A. Lemon Lemon ?will officiate?. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received from noon-2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
