Obituary of Lee C. Pike
Lee C. Pike, 81, of 206 Maplecrest Avenue, Lakewood, died Friday October 28, 2016, in UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA.
A longtime area resident, he was born January 15, 1935, a son of the late Melvin and Margarite Swanson Pike.
Prior to his retirement he was employed by Ring Punch and Die and earlier had worked for Automatic Voting Machine.
He enjoyed sports and played many especially golf. He loved his family, country and life. He will be remembered for singing country music.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Viola Strand Pike; six children Doreen (Bill) Dancy of Clearwater, FL, Vickie (Al) Bowen of Jamestown, Brenda Pike of Jamestown, Valerie (Earl) Flannery of Oxford, NC, Shelly (Bob) Carlson of Lakewood and Lee Pike, Jr of Celoron; sixteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and a sister Vivian Pike Paduano of Greenhurst.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson Monie Meabon; a brother James Pike; a sister Audrey Smales and two nieces Sheryl Crocker and MonaLee Paduano Keul.
A celebration of life will be celebrated from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Herman Kent Post 777 American Legion, Jackson Avenue, Celoron.
