Obituary of Yvonne S Colburn

Yvonne S. Colburn, 68, of 107 Williams St., passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016 in the WCA Hospital. She was born March 30, 1948 in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Oke G. and Pauline Y. Curtis Lindell. She was a graduate of Jamestown High School. She was confirmed and baptized in the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Yvonne was a devoted housewife. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and loved her entire family very much. She enjoyed reading, shopping, latch hooking, and loved pets. She is survived by her son James Colburn, two grandsons Deven and Colton Colburn, a sister Priscilla Steed, many nieces and nephews including Tabitha Whiteacre, Ray Whiteacre, Colorado and Krystal Hintz who all were very close to her and many great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John H. Colburn Jr., and a sister Penny Hintz. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2016 in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald E. Ray will officiate. Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Monday and from 12-2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
