Obituary of Larry A. McNallie
Larry A. McNallie, 83, of Clinton, TN, formerly of Jamestown, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 18, 2016, at his home in Tenn.
A Jamestown area resident for most of his life, he was born May 16, 1933 in the Town of Ellery, a son of the late Allan L. and Elsie Luce McNallie.
He was a graduate of the former Bemus Point High School and had attended Jamestown Community College.
Before his retirement he was employed by the former Dahlstrom Manufacturing Company as a purchasing agent. He also served in the U.S. Naval Reserves for several years.
He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and a classic car enthusiast who enjoyed listening to Bluegrass and country music, usually while driving too fast. He developed a love for travel later in life, and took great pleasure in exploring the United States in his RV. A true gentlemen who will be remembered by all who knew him as soft-spoken and kind, he loved spending time with his family and friends most of all, and could always be counted on for a story. A loving father, brother, and friend, he will be most missed for his involvement in the lives of others, and the way in which he made those around him better.
