Martha -
On behalf of the Grant County Historical Society, we express our sympathy concerning your loss of Jim. He was a valuable member of the Society and contributed much to the preservation of Grant County history.
We also fondly remember your own service to our community, particularly as a member of the Marion Public Library Board.
May God bless you during this time of sorrow.

Dear Martha,
It has been a long time since our JHS graduation
but I always found you such an attractive and serene classmate.
I moved to Northern California some 57 years ago, so I have been more than a little out of touch with our hometown barring a few reunions.
We have had long and pleasant lives for which I'm certain we give
thanks. Still, there are the heartaches such as your recent loss.
Please accept my condolences on your family's loss.
Best, Patty

Martha,
Our prayers are with you as you mourn the loss of James. It was our delight to have him as a friend during our days at College Church. Here is a poem you might find meaningful.
A Remembrance
There is a journey called Remembrance,
I take from time to time.
It’s pathway winds through my heart;
Where sweet memories I always find.
Yes, mem’ry is a journey
Our minds can travel through;
It’s pathway leads into my heart
When I’m missing you.
If you travel deep inside,
You’ll walk down mem’ry lane;
It’s filled with precious moments
Of pleasure and of pain.
Years can’t destroy the beauty,
As long as mem’ry lives.
Time can’t erase the pleasure
That our mem’ry gives.
Yes, mem’ry paints a picture,
Of time I shared with you,
A journey called remembrance,
I’ll stroll my whole life through.
