On behalf of the Antique Study Club, we wish to extend our sympathy to all of Joyce's family. She was such a faithful and fun member of our group. We always looked forward to the annual Christmas party when she would appear as Santa's elf! All memories of Joyce bring a smile to our face. Peace be to her memory.

To all the family
I am so sorry Joyce has left this world.
I just found out today one week old newspaper so I missed the funeral.
I am grieving so hard as she was my best friend and also loved her like a mother. She treated my family like family.Although space krept in past six months she just kept growing closer in my heart.
I can not express the heart break of me and my kids and your all in our thoughts.

Dear family,
I would have never guessed Joyce's age until I saw it in print. She has always been such a young person at heart and vibrant with always a positive outlook. Joyce was a dear sweet person and our special contact for RADA knives.
She and her sister Shirley would attend my household sales many years back and I in turn would attend their Memorial weekend lawn sales and talk to Joyce at Sugar Grove Sale Days..
I really really am so grateful to have known her and truly I will miss not seeing her and enjoying a chat with her. There really are some nice people that I have known that will always be a part of my memory forever.
May it be of some comfort to the family that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sue, Mike and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I knew your mother in so many ways, but I wish to pay particular thanks for her many years of dedication as an Election Inspector for Chautauqua County. She was always so professional, friendly and competent as one of our rocks at the West Ellicott Southwestern Central School based poll site. I extend my deepest sympathy.

Chautauqua County Commissioner of Elections

When I was pastor of Kidder Memorial United Methodist Church, Joyce was a faithful and active member of our church. I enjoyed hearing stories of her appearances as Raggedy Ann and the church could always count on her and her sister Shirley working the jewelry table at the Rummage Sale. I will never forget her miracle story shortly after she was diagnosed with cancer. The prognosis was grim, but she gave up on the chemo and decided her time had come. Instead God healed her and she enjoyed many years of healthy life afterwards. One Christmas, she asked me if she could come to church dressed as an elf. She didn't want to be disrespectful, but she wanted to add some joy to the season. We decided it would be fun and I will never forget the smiles on the kids (and adults) faces when they saw one of Santa's elves worshiping with us! Thank you Joyce for the joy you brought to so many lives. You will be missed.
