Obituary of Rebecca A. Painter

Rebecca A. Painter, 35, of Jamestown, died Sunday December 18, 2016, in UPMC Chautauqua WCA. A lifelong Jamestown resident, she was born December 5, 1981, a daughter of Dennis and Gabriela Saradin Painter. She was a 2000 graduate of Jamestown High School where she was a member of the softball and soccer teams and later graduated from Jamestown Community College with an associate's degree in Human Services. She was employed by The Connection as a call representative and earlier had worked for The Resource Center. She enjoyed reading and walking, but more than anything she loved spending time with her family especially her son. Surviving besides her parents of Jamestown, is a son Trenton Painter of Jamestown; a sister Stephanie (Chris) Cleary of Depew, NY; maternal grandmother Elisabeth Saradin of Salamanca, NY; paternal grandmother Viola Painter of The Pines, Olean, NY and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers Stefan Saradin and James Painter and great grandmother Emma Town. The funeral will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Deacon Samuel Pellerito will officiate. Friends will be received from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org.
