You were the Patriarch of our family and always made HOME the home for all of us, especially after our Mom passed in 1988. You will be remembered for always giving us a place to gather, "The Flock Gathers here" !!!
Fish Frys, Herring Breakfasts, "Beef on Wick"! and many fishing trips and lessons on techniques and secrets on the Lake we all loved, even the Rocking Chairs at Bemus Point with potato chips and a coke, a beer at at the Casino with special chicken wings to dip as we grew older !! Along with this, memories at The Rod and Gun and The Vikings bring fond memories of the Swedish Flag blowing in the wind,
You are missed very much. So so many memories from childhood with fireflies in the backyard and corn on the cob with Musky grilled to perfection. It was the peace of being on the water that drew us to spend our time with you and the stories of catching fish and the insight you gave to all of us on LIFE through life tragedies, death, divorce and estrangement and sadness. We miss you dearly and we take some solace in knowing that you are in Heaven with our loved ones who have preceded you. Love and Miss you! You helped me raise my Son Sean and encouraged him to pursue his dreams of being an architect. He and his family, Beth and Nora miss your guidance and encouragement. In our hearts, we know you LOVE us from afar. We LOVE you.

Dear Aunt Lillian and family,
I'm so appreciative of Uncle Bill's kindness and treasure my visits. Such a truly nice and fun person to be around. Deeply passionate about his family, his country and his heritage. And a fellow lover of the outdoors and wildlife!
You're all in my prayers
Love,
Lianne

Dearest Lillian and family,
Words cannot express our sadness at the loss of such a wonderful, loving husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and devoted friend to your great community. It was a pleasure and an honor to have known him and called him family. He made a positive impact on Alexandra and will forever be in our hearts.
