Shirley was a beautiful lady inside and out, and had the biggest heart.
Her strong willingness to ensure happiness in others is reflected in her life with her family, friends, and co-workers.
She truly enjoyed having her house full, and could always be found in the kitchen cooking and baking for family and friends. She particularly loved it when her grandchildren were helping her bake. Her beautiful gardens and home were a symbol of her life and the joy she brought to those around her.
Shirley's extended family includes her many colleagues and friends at Lutheran Social Services. There she could be found mentoring new nurses, looking out for her coworkers, and taking special care of her residents. This work truly brought her joy.
Shirley will always be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and selflessness.
