Obituary of Ann-Marie Olson

Ann-Marie Olson, 68, of Pittsford, NY, died Friday, January 13, 2017 in the University of Rochester’s Highland Hospital. She was born in Jamestown January 20, 1948, a daughter of the late Bertil F. and Louise Lindquist Olson. Ann-Marie received her Master’s Degree in Education from the State University of New York at Fredonia. She then taught second grade in the North Collins School System for many years. She is survived by a brother, Clifton (Barbara) Olson of Canandaigua, NY; a nephew, Graham (Kim) Olson, and their children, Jeffrey and Gregory, of Binghamton, NY; and a niece, Kristin (Evan) Smith, and their children, Zoe and Eli Smith, of Canandaigua. In addition to her parents, Ann-Marie was preceded in death by a sister, Blenda Olson. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Daniel K. Nagle, pastor of First Lutheran Church, will officiate. Inurnment will be in Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
