Obituary of Gary R. Wyant

Gary R. Wyant, 68, of 20 Chautauqua Ave. in Jamestown, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 18, 2017 in the Erie County Medical Center. He was born October 25, 1948 in Punxsutawney, Pa., the son of the late Ira and Elizabeth Wyant. He attended and was active at The Resource Center. Gary happily enjoyed watching sports. He was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres, as well as the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is survived by four sisters: Donna Tyger and her husband, Dennis, with whom Gary made his home, Kathy (Rob) Frontino, Pam (Dan) Thurston and Cynthia (the late Steve) Hayes; two nieces and several nephews. A private family service will be held. Visitation will not be observed.
