Obituary of Terry Constantine

Terry Constantine, 78, of Heritage Green Rehab & Skilled Nursing, formerly of Frewsburg, NY, passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 at UPMC Chautauqua WCA. He was born July 25, 1938 in Jamestown, a son of the late Thomas and Chrisula Zdruli Constantine. A 1956 graduate of Jamestown High School, Terry was employed by the Proto Tool Co. for 28 years, until its closing in 1984. He then began employment at Larson Metal, and enjoyed working for Bill and Mindy Larson whom he considered a special family. He is survived by a daughter, Chrisula E. Constantine of Frewsburg; two sisters: Virginia Cummings of Jamestown and Loretta Searls of Glendora, CA; two sisters-in-law: Athena Constantine and Dawn Henderson, both of Jamestown; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers: Nicholas, William, Chris and Gust Constantine; a sister, Marie Leake; three brothers-in-law: Ted Searls, James A. Cummings and Russell Leake; a sister-in-law, Mildred Constantine; and a nephew, James B. Cummings. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. The Rev. Jarrod Russell will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home, where a Trisagion Prayer Service will be led by Rev. Russell at 7:45 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church or the Erene Society at P.O. Box 264, Jamestown, NY 14702-0264.
