Jo Taylor will be so sorely missed at the lake. Craig and I first met Jo and Jack when we bought the cottage next door to them in 2009. Throughout the time that our cottage was being remodeled and even to the present time we knew we had friends that were keeping their eyes out for whatever was going on in the neighborhood. Jo was friendly and loved to talk about flowers, the lake, her hummingbirds, and their latest round of golf. Jack was often found sitting on his front porch with a book in hand. I'd stroll over to see what he was reading and to ask how he and Jo were doing. Once I heard that Jo had had a stroke at the end of 2016 I stopped by more often to visit at their home. Jo was warm and welcoming as always. It brings me to tears to know that she is gone. I wish only the best for Jack in the weeks and months ahead. I hope to see him at the lake once the weather breaks. Jo will always be in our hearts.
Sincerely, Nancy Miller

Dear Jack and family,
Dick and I were so shocked at the news of Joan's death. She was a wonderful woman and a good friend. She and you too were so fun to golf with. I will miss her humor and wry comments that endeared her to me. I am glad that I had the chance to call her several weeks ago and have a long chat with her. She seemed so upbeat that I expected almost a full recovery. I never knew she painted. I'm sure she did that well as everything she did was done with perfection. Her recipe for fruit tarts used to drive me crazy as the dough was tricky. But of course she had mastered it but not without a lot of complaining she used to say. We will surely miss her in our golf leagues as we will in our hearts. Stay strong and don't be afraid to call on friends for assistance. I hope the memorial will be held at a time when those away for the winter can attend. Fondly, Sylvia and Dick Fiorello

Dear Jack and family -
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We have spent many years at the lake together for impromptu gatherings and holidays. Jo was always such a bright spot during our time at the lake. Her laughter and friendship will be dearly missed. Again, our deepest sympathy.
