Obituary of Patricia Ann Cook

Patricia Ann Plowright Cook, 77, of 325 Hazzard St., passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017 in Buffalo General Hospital. She was born June 29, 1939 in Mosgrove, Pa., one of eight children of the late Arthur and Jenny Anthony Cousins. Pat received her accounting degree from Jamestown Community College and was employed by the former Manor Oak Skilled Nursing Facility as a Nurse's Aide, and later in housekeeping. She loved animals and in earlier years enjoyed hunting and fishing. Pat is survived by a son, Reid L. Plowright of Jamestown; as well as four stepsons, Fred, Harold, Gerald and Tim Cook. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Plowright and second husband, Earl Cook; two sisters, Connie Mystkowski and Kay Tomson; and five brothers, Bill, Ed, Jim, Ken and Vance Cousins. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Tara Lamont Eastman will officiate. Burial will be in North East, Pa. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, and for one hour prior to the service in the funeral home Saturday.
