Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Nordine

Mary Elizabeth Nordine, 92, formerly of 27A Shirley Lane, passed away Wednesday March 15, 2017 in the Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born November 5, 1924 in Jamestown the daughter of the late Hartie and Ada Ackerman Coons. Mary was a devoted homemaker and she loved flowers. Surviving are her son, Jeffrey A. Nordine and her grandson, Ryan Nordine both of Jamestown. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Nordine who died March 5, 2013; and infant daughter Kay Nordine in 1953; a son Steven Nordine in 1969; and her sister Shirley Slagle in 2012. The funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Gerald A. Haglund, Heritage Group Chaplin will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service in the funeral home.
