Dear Sally,
We have not yet quite returned from our winter stay in Naples, Florida, so could not express our condolences in person. Please receive our sincere regrets to you and your family at the passing of Gordon. I had the privilege of serving with him on the Board of AAA Jamestown. He was astute, wise and and always a gentleman. He was wonderful to work with!
We and the community feel his loss.
Love,
Lois and Brad

Enjoyed Gordy so much. Such an interesting man. He "mentored" my son when he heard Adam was interested in going to Alleghany College. He even wrote a letter in support of Adam.
From that point on whenever I would see Gordy he never failed to ask me how Adam was doing.
Such a nice guy.
My thoughts are with you

I am very sorry to hear of Gordy's passing. He was one of the best of the "good guys " in my memories of friends from Jamestown and he always made me feel special when speaking to you both. And of course, the house on Van Buren St. that was such a big part of our lives when we lived there... RIP old friend.....

Bob, as your friend, hearing about your loss has deeply saddened me, but I know that this is far from what you are going through right now. There is no way to “prepare” for a sudden loss such as this. Although, I never had the pleasure of meeting Gordie personally, I feel as though I know him just from the wonderful stories you’ve shared with me over the years. May your fond memories of him bring you comfort now and in the future. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family. With Love and condolences, Roy

Sally, Tim, Bob and Carolyn,
I am so sorry for your loss. When my mom, who lives at Lutheran, called me last night to tell me I could not believe it. Fond memories of the many hours we spent at Moon Brook playing golf immediately came to mind. Will never forget those times. My deepest sympathy to all of you.
