Dear Ellen - We are so saddened by Richard Peter's passing and so very sorry for your great loss. Richard was such a wonderful and generous guy and we have so many fond memories of the time spent with you both as fellow innkeepers and friends. The bonfires at Hollileif were always a highlight on our calendar and hold a special place in our family's memories, We wish we could be with you for the memorial service but please know that we are there with you in spirit and that we hold you and memories of Peter in our hearts.

I was so sorry to hear of Peter's passing. I so enjoyed the last time we were together and the three of us enjoyed a rainy day at Lilly Dale, NY. It was so relaxing for me as I had just lost my husband. Thank you Peter and Ellen for such a wonderful time spent there. Your hospitality was the best. Thank you Peter for our friendship, I will never forget it and all the times we spent as "neighbors" in Upper Black Eddy, Pa. May you rest in extreme peace my friend.
