Obituary of Scott B. Truver

Scott B. Truver, 60, of 1239 Big Tree Sugar Grove Road, passed away Thursday June 15, 2017 in Hamot Medical Center, Erie, PA. He was born February 24, 1957 in Jamestown the son of the late Paul R. "Gumpy" and Donna Karr Truver. Scott was a 1975 graduate of Southwestern Central High School and for many years was owner operator of Truver Construction. He was an avid hunter. Surviving are three daughters: Dawn Bechmann of East Amherst, NY; Jennifer Truver of Ashville; Stacey Simmers of Jamestown; 12 grandchildren; three great grandchildren and one on the way; and two brothers, Mark Truver of Lakewood and David Truver of Jamestown. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Briggs Truver; two sons, John P. Truver and Brian Truver; and a grandson, Bradley Stanton. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Piotr Zaczynski, pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lakewood will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made in c/o the family to help with funeral expenses.
