Obituary of Reid Matthew Jones

Reid Matthew Jones, infant son of Ryan and Jeannine Jones of 481 Front St., went to be with the Lord Saturday, June 17, 2017 following a courageous battle with leukemia. He was born at Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo on March 30, 2017. During Reid's brief time on earth he was adored by all that met him and knew nothing but pure, unending love. He touched so many lives and will forever be remembered as a strong, sweet soul. In addition to his parents, Reid is survived by his twin sister, Emersyn, and older twin brothers, Luke and Blake Jones. Also surviving are maternal grandparents, Richard and Pamela VanAernum; paternal grandmother, Donna Jones; aunts and uncles: Michael & Justine Olson, Kyle VanAernum, Jamie & Ashley Morrison, Morgan Stearns, and Mallory Stearns; as well as several loving cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert L. Jones. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. Pastor Tom Baldwin of Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday prior to the service in the funeral home. A private family committal will take place in the Ivory Cemetery.
