George, Cherie and families,
I found a Christmas card from your Mom in my parents things. It was a beautiful card with kind words and wishes.
I looked and found she had passed away. I am so sorry about the loss of your mother. I have great memories of both your Mom and Dad. My
parents loved your Mom and Dad. I remember your Mom as always having a nice thing to say and a smile on her face. You are both in my thoughts and prayers.

Cherie, George, and Family. Our most sincere sympathy for the passing of your Mom. A wonderful person, and an amazing family. As a kid I always looked forward to going "all the way out" to Fredrick Blvd. to spend time with the Petro's! Your Mom always treated us as one of her own---gracious, generous, and loving. She was always there with a smile and kind word. I loved her sharp wit as well---something which was special about Jim and her. The gang really knew how to have a good time!
Some things are hard to replicate---and would say the era of the Petro's, Sarro's, Kianos's, Dimas's, and Constantine's, is one of them! Thanks to both of you for keeping their legacies in tact, and continuing to keep their memories eternal. Please know that we are thinking of you, and wish we were in Jamestown to share the memories! Love, Mark and Karen

Dear Violet and Family,
Please accept my sympathies on your loss. I knew Cathy and Jim going way back into my early teenage years through St. Nicholas Church. Back then in the late 1950's I remember Jim twirling Cathy around like newlyweds on the dance floor at the old church socials. Cathy was such a pretty lady.
While I did not know them well at the time, it was through Jim working at Washington School, when he retired from Prudential, that I grew to know them both well. There were quite a few times when Jim's Land Rover was in for repair and he or Cathy needed a ride home from work. Jim was the one with the jokes, the stories, and Cathy was the quiet one. She always was a kind person and caring and thoughtful.
Cathy was always sharing a thought to me about my Mom when my Mom was in a nursing home and I would see Cathy at a church luncheon or bazaar.
May her memory be eternal.
She was a special lady.

My thoughts are with all of you.
I worked with Cathy for many years at WCA. She was such a "lady". I consider it an honor to have known her.
