Obituary of Carol L. Moyer

Carol L. Moyer, 72, formerly of Hultquist Place,715 Falconer St. Jamestown, NY, passed away at 2:05 a.m. Saturday, July 1, 2017, in the Sena Kean Manor Nursing Home, Smethport, PA. A Smethport, PA resident for most of her life, she was born April 19, 1945 in Jamestown, NY, a daughter of the late Rev. John P. "Jack" and Elverna J. "Ellie" Curtis Ruggles. She was a 1963 graduate of Smethport High School and had previously been employed by the Jaguar Clothing Store in Smethport, PA and was also an aide at the Sena Kean Manor Nursing Home in Smethport for several years. Surviving are two daughters, Cheryl (Tim) Linnan, Cathy (Jerry Gallant) Morgan both of Smethport, PA, a brother, George E. (Karla) Ruggles of Bradford, PA, a nephew, Benjamin Ruggles of DuBois, PA, and an aunt, Ann Lepley of Jamestown , NY. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a step-brother, Clifford Maise and an aunt, Betty Baron. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017, in the Hilltop Baptist Church, Gifford, PA. The Rev. Max Simms, pastor will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Lake View Cemetery, Jamestown, NY. Memorials may be made to the Susan G.
