Obituary of Willis C. Miller
Willis C. "Will" Miller, 82, of 611 Orchard Road, formerly of 1764 Forest Ave. Ext., passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the Lutheran Retirement Home.
He was the husband of Diane Intihar Miller, whom he married June 26, 1989.
Will was born in Piney Fork, Ohio on April 30, 1935, a son of the late Walter "Buzz" and Mossalea Olive Nation Miller, and was a 1953 graduate of Frewsburg High School.
Will proudly served his country as a 6 year member of the Army National Guard.
He had been employed as a lead-man at Hope's Windows, where he had worked for 44 years. He was also a member of the Ironworker's Union #470.
In addition to his wife, Diane, surviving are three children: Brett Miller of Jamestown and South Carolina, Marcy Clark and Daniel (Paige) Anderson, all of Jamestown; a grandson, Jonathon Miller of Boiling Springs, SC and two granddaughters, Jessie Brocker of Greenville, SC and Whitney Taylor of Barberton, OH; a great-grandson, Zachary Taylor; and two brothers, Wallace (Donna) Miller of Myrtle Beach, SC and Ira (Carol) Miller of Torrance, CA.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 5th in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Daniel S. Rumfelt will officiate. Inurnment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service in the funeral home Saturday.
