My deepest condolences for the loss of Scott. He was an amazing husband, father and friend. I have fond memories of him when I was little trying to get me to eat his wild meat, oh how he loved to hunt. Marge keep him on his game! RIP.

Dear Marge and Family, so sorry for your loss. You and Scott were one of our best neighbors for over 12 years. We so appreciated both of you opening your home to the many of visitors that would want to see your hunting and fishing trophies. It was like touring a museum. The stories you both shared regarding your trophies were second to none. We will continue to keep your family in our prayers. Love, Tom and Marie

Marge and all - Very sorry! I was looking for a picture of his brother Harry, which I found to show to my wife on pinterest and found it! It said he was buried in Shandoken - - Well the next day I retraced my steps to see if it gave out any info on my old friend Scott and his notice came up with his picture that he passed away 2 days earlier! So sorry and I'd made several attemps to find him since the 60s and 70s?? We hunted together and he was quite the deer hunter but he was a real technician on a trout stream! I was within 3 feet of him on day walking down a country road in West Virginia (shooting the bull and all ) when he dropped his red-worm on the end of ((brown bess)) behind a rock ((while navigating the stream across a washed out road)) and caught a nice brookie!! Right in the dog gone middle of the road!! I saw it with my own eyes and that provided us with a good laugh for a long time and I still bring that up now and then!! I now have a fly rod names brown bess after my friend Scott!! Another time he took me to a place up around ADA NY and we caught trout you could write about in books --in fact I have pictures of Scott frying fish in some farmers barnyard where at that meal we ate 28 fried trout - ((3 of us)) What a time we had!! Thanks OLD SCOUT for the memories! See you again some day Dave Goodridge Chardon Ohio

Marge, Susie, Patty & Harry: So very sorry to hear about your dad. He was a really special guy & he & your mom were the best hunters I ever knew. May he rest in peace & have a ball up there telling fish stories & others with my dad. I will never forget that he nicknamed me "Seahag" when I was in my early teens. It was such a endearing name even though I did get mad at him for it. Keeping you all in my thoughts & prayers. Take care
