Deepest Sympathy to Norma's Family.
Norma was my neighbor, friend and A'Cappella Buddy @ JHS...Class of 1954.
I will miss sending her cards - plus our short visits when I came to town.
But we have those wonderful memories of years past. Such a sweet friend.
May the Lord grant you all Peace and Strength through the difficult days ahead. She will be missed.
Love,
Roger and Betty Anderson Stahley

Norma was my friend in two "arenas"--Jamestown Choral Society, where we sat next to each other in the soprano section for a few years. Our mutual love of the music we sang bonded us, and we soon became good friends. Lutheran Retirement Home, where I am a volunteer who visits residents is the other "arena." We had many good visits there, especially during her early years as a resident. We talked music, of course, caught each other up on mutual friends, and chatted about a number of other topics. The last of those visits was last Thursday (July 20); needless to say, we didn't chat much that day, but she did acknowledge my presence, uttering just a few words, and I felt that we did, indeed, share our continuing friendship. My deepest sympathy to you, her family; Norma and I were only friends for a few years, but I am grateful for the good times we did share in that time.
