Obituary of Joanne M. Bullock

Joanne M. Bullock, 86, of 340 Willard St. Jamestown, passed away at 3:55 am Saturday, July 29, 2017, in UPMC Chautauqua WCA Hospital. A lifelong area resident, she was born October 11, 1930 in Jamestown, NY a daughter of the late C. Simon and Engeborg O. Edborg Carlson. She was a member of the New Creation Assembly of God Church, formerly the Calvary Assembly of God Church. She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother and grandmother who was a devoted Christian woman. Surviving are three children, Marilyn VanDewark, Lawrence Bullock and Darlene Bullock all of Jamestown, two grandsons, Daniel Rose and Derek VanDewark both of Jamestown and a great grandson, Ryan Freeman whom she loved very much. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert Bullock who died in 1985, three brothers, Wallace, Leonard and Walter Carlson and two sisters, Jeannine Lundsten and Dorothy Miller. The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. William Blair, pastor of the New Creation Assembly of God Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service on Tuesday in the funeral home.
