To the family of Gene Danielson,
I worked with Gene for about 25 of the 30 years he was at the Sheldon House, and he was such a pleasure to talk with and he made our special guests feel special there too. He was a gentleman and such a dedicated and loyal caretaker of the beautiful Sheldon House. It was never the same after he finished up there. We will miss Gene terribly, as we did when he was gone from that beautiful place...we will keep him and you in our thoughts.

It's been decades since we had seen one another but I remember him
as the fine "boy" he was and the man he had become. Our class of
1950 was the better for such as he. Patty

I had the pleasure of working with Gene at JCC for several years. Whenever I spoke with him he was always gracious and accommodating; a true gentleman. I will miss most hearing his stories about the Sheldon House. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Diane,
so sorry to hear of the passing of your brother. I will miss having our little conversations we used to have when I would visit my dad. He's in a much better
place now.
Love,
Michele

My condolences to Gene's family. I knew Gene back in the late 70s/early 80s when I lived in Jamestown and when Gene was the manager of, and lived over, the Palace Theater. He was a good friend and a great guy, and will be missed.
