Obituary of Aixa Martinez

Aixa J. Martinez, 47, of 1044 North Main St. Jamestown, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017, in UPMC Chautauqua WCA. An area resident for several years, she was born October 15, 1969 in Humacao, Puerto Rico, a daughter of John Martinez and the late Zoraida Velazquez. Surviving is her father of Puerto Rico, her husband, Reinaldo Fontanez of Jamestown, three children, Walter Ortiz of FL, Juan Tufino, John Carlos Tufino both of Jamestown, four grandchildren, three brothers, Rafael Martinez, Nestor Martinez, Juan Martinez and a sister, Wanda Martinez all of Jamestown. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Alfonso Pagan, pastor of the Neuva Vida Covenant Church will officiate.
