Obituary of Kimberly S. Boskat
Kimberly Hagg Boskat, 50, of 78 Lee Avenue, died Tuesday August 8, 2017, in Jamestown, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
A lifelong Jamestown resident, she was born October 19, 1966, a daughter of Marjory Tompsett Hagg Snow and the late Richard Hagg.
She was a 1984 graduate of Jamestown High School.
She had been employed by a variety of area doctors as a medical receptionist.
She was always a loyal supporter of her children's activities including volunteering for the JHS Football and Volleyball Booster Clubs. She was a dog lover especially giving treats to her dog Bubba. She was a very giving person and will continue to be as an organ donor. The family wishes to thank Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to Kim.
Surviving besides her mother of Bradenton, FL, are three children Chad (Amber) Boskat of Washington, PA and Emily and Ally Boskat both of Jamestown; four siblings Laurie (Gordon) Vanstrom, with whom she made her home, Douglas (Debbie) Hagg and Don (Corrine) Hagg both of Bradenton, FL, and Dan (Sara) Hagg of Concord, NC; her former husband Glenn Boskat of Jamestown; sister in law Robyn (Ron) Bentham Bemus Point, Ny - step siblings ;Darlene (Bill) Main of Georgia, Darrin (Tina) Snow of North Carolina, Diane Snow of Jamestown, Dennis Snow of Georgia and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father who died on the same date in 1986 and her step father Edwin Snow in December 2015.
A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. Deacon Cathy Smith, Hospice Chaplain will officiate.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday in the funeral home.
