Obituary of Candido J. Andino
Candido J. Andino, 84, formerly of Tanglewood Manor, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 26, 2017, in the Heritage Green Rehab & Skilled Nursing Facility.
An area resident for many years, he was born on March 15, 1933 in Patillas, Puerto Rico, a son of the late Gerald and Jacinta Andino.
He was a communicant of Holy Apostles Parish, Ss Peter & Paul Catholic Church. In earlier years he was employed as a migrant worker at various farms.
A few of his interests include drawing and art. One of the things he will most be remembered for was his devotion to his loving wife of 40 years, Sharon.
Candido is survived by his wife, Sharon Troxell Andino, whom he married May 5, 1977; two sisters: Bassalisa Perez and Tomasa Perez; a brother Felix Ortiz; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2017 in the Lind Funeral Home. Deacon Samuel Pellerito will officiate.
Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service Wednesday in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Busti Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care, 20 W. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood, NY 14750.
