Obituary of Jean M. Swanson

Jean Morse Swanson, of Lyndhurst, Ohio died on August 28, 2017 in Highland Heights, Ohio. Jean was born on July 22, 1930 in Jamestown, New York, to the late Levi and Julia Morse. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Daniel Morse, and her husband; Alvin L. Swanson. She is survived by her step-brother, David Sandberg (Connie) of Hudson, Ohio, her sister-in-law, Anne Morse of Holmes Beach, Florida, a daughter, Marilyn Johnson (Kenneth) of Lyndhurst, Ohio, a son, Donald Swanson (Martha) of Clarkston, Michigan, six grand-children and two great-grandchildren. Jean is best remembered for her love and dedication to her family and her faith. While Jean and her family resided in Lyndhurst, Ohio, they spent most summers in Chautauqua County. Jean was a 1948 graduate of Strong Vincent High School in Erie, PA and 1952 graduate of Allegheny College. The family will observe a private memorial service and burial at Lake View Cemetery in Jamestown.
