Obituary of Cory C. Casler

Cory C. Casler, 43, of Ashville, NY, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017 at his home. A self-employed contractor, Cory was the son of Tim and Nicki Casler. In addition to his parents of Ashville, surviving is a sister, Nicole Snyder and her husband Pete (always "Brother" to Cory) of Jamestown; his two nieces whom he adored, Lauren and Emma Snyder; as well as Cory's dogs, his kids, Olive and Apollo. There is no stronger woman than Cory's Mom. She spent the last two and a half years giving her heart and soul to love, comfort and support him. Although we as a family are deeply saddened by his loss, we are at peace knowing he is no longer suffering in the world he lived in . . . No funeral service or visitation will be observed. Instead, the family asks that you take time to research and better understand the effects of traumatic brain injuries. As many know, Cory had a true love for snowmobiling and snowmobile racing. We are asking that memorials be made to Loud Performance to help fund the racetrack they are building. We want to especially thank Casey and Dee and all of Loud Performance for the kindness, understanding and love that they always had for Cory.
