I met John at Mildred‘s home lunch in Ashville and from there, our friendship grew.
We often went hunting the opening day of Pennsylvania deer season in Marienville. Usually we would take John‘s camper and meet up with other guys in that same spot every year.
No matter where you went with John, he know the best places to eat.
I helped John in the wintertime with his towing business since I have a Summer business. John was very professional, he would always answer the phone John L Schutt.
John loved his dogs, he used to call them all “Bumzee”.
We went to Colorado elk hunting and drove Wally Johnson‘s S 10 pick up out there to meet Wally in Fort Collins Colorado. John had a Jim Croce tape and we listened to it over and over. We had a lot of fun, seems like yesterday!
John would always say “like you say” - often he said it without even knowing.
John drove by my farm multiple times a day to take his dog for a ride. His dog was hanging way out the window and John would always wave.
He shared his lifetime memories with me, and also made many memories for me that I will never forget!
John was a true friend.
