Obituary of Marjorie L. Nandelstadt

Marjorie L Nandelstadt, 65, of 1 Logan Ave, Jamestown, died unexpectedly, Thursday November 9, 2017 at UPMC Chautauqua WCA. She was born October 2, 1952 in Warren, PA, the daughter of the Frances Raymond Smith and Barbara Larson O'Brien who preceded her in death. A licensed hair stylist, Margie had owned and operate A Cut Above Hair Salon in Lakewood and Jamestown, NY for many years, most recently employed by John David Hair Design. She is survived by Glenn Nandelstadt, her husband of 25 years; two children, Anthony Parinella IV of Savannah, GA and Lindsey (Andrew) Johnson of Westfield, eight grandchildren: Anthony Parinella V, of St. Mary's, GA, Jeston Parinella, of the UK, Jacquelyn Johnson and Donovan Johnson of Westfield, NY., Godrick and Seraph Nandelstadt of Winston Salem, NC and Natalie and Douglas Nandelstadt of Port Saint Lucie, FL. Three siblings; Donna Smith of Schenectady, NY, Tracy (Lisa) Smith of Delanson, NY and Bonnie Rae Strickland of Bemus Point, NY. Marge will be remembered for her tender nature and beautiful smile. She delighted in spending time with her grandchildren; walking in the field and catching newts in the stream in Westfield. Fireworks shared with Jeston and Anthony brought smiles to everyone around them. Her family will remember the sweet, innocent girl that played with dolls; the beginning of the nurturing love she would give her children. Fun, dedicated and considerate of other, Margie, known for her class, in tone and appearance, touch many hearts and will be missed deeply. The funeral will be held at 6 pm Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. Friends and family will be received from 4-6 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
