Obituary of Eva Lorraine Swan

Eva Lorraine Swan 88, formerly of Lakewood, NY passed away at 8:48 am Friday, November 17, 2017, in the Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility. An area resident for most of her life, she was born September 17, 1929 in Youngsville, PA a daughter of the late Courtney W. and Cecelia Corbran Johnson. She was a bookkeeper for her husband's building contracting company Swan Construction for many years, as well as a wonderful housewife and homemaker while raising her six son's. Surviving are five sons; Krifting (Linda) Swan of Rochester, NY, Gary (Cindy) Swan of Advance, NC, Jeffrey (Debbie) Swan of Lakewood, Jonathon Swan of Sinclairville, NY, Steven Swan of Lakewood, NY, 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis K. "Pete" Swan who died January 21, 2000, a son, Mark E. Swan who died in 1997, two brothers, T. Warner Johnson, Sherwood Johnson and a sister, Virginia Peterson. The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Timothy Stahlman, pastor of the Family Church of Jamestown will officiate. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 7-9 pm Monday in the funeral home.
