Obituary of John C. Fowler

John C. Fowler, 81, formerly of Jamestown, NY, passed away Saturday November 25, 2017 in Corry Manor. He was born June 1, 1936 in Sharon, PA the son of the late John H. and Arena Stevens Fowler. Prior to retirement, John worked at Trinity Industries in Greenville, PA where he was a member of their Labor Union. He enjoyed gardening and traveling throughout the United States. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Janet Griffin Fowler; a son, David Lurtz of Jamestown; and a brother, James (Linda) Fowler Sr. of Hysteria, CA. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Russell J. Fowler who died November 6, 2016. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
