Dear Mark and Sue,
I am saddened to have just received word about your Mom here in California.
Please accept my condolences. Your Mom was a lovely lady and wonderful neighbor and friend to my late Mom, Eleanor. I fondly remember our many summer days playing kick-the-can in your yard and your Mom always being so kind to all of us noisy kids!
