Dear Kathy, Beverly and Jim,
I recently learned of your mother's passing. I wish for you all to know how deeply this saddened me. Your mother had an outstanding character, as you well know. She was truly one of the loveliest ladies, ever! Not only of brilliant mind, but so very loyal. Sue continued to correspond with my mother while my mom lain crippled in her bed in a nursing home up here in Buffalo. You can never know how greatly my mother and I appreciated this! She was truly a lifeline for my mom.
Sue was not only imbued with kindness; loyalty, but she did this, selflessly! I shall always remember her sparkling smile, her cute laugh, and her fine character. Your mother was a one in a million person! So lovely, so humble!
One of my lifelong, Jamestown friends, Paula Arnone Tourtelloutte, wrote to me, upon my mother's passing: "Love never dies; it just changes form". How very true this is! Grief can be so very crippling, but the love they gave us, so enduring. My deepest sympathies to each of you.
