So very sorry to read about your fathers passing Sue, Steven & Lisa. He was such a nice man. Your Mom and Dad were very special friends of my mom and dad-Ramsay and Eileen Riddell. I know how much dad valued and enjoyed Arnie on his ski patrol at the Peek. I used to see your dad now and then and he always had a smile on his face and seemed to enjoy chatting about old ski days. Dad and mom first met him at the Jamestown ski club and then he and some of the club members ended up on the ski patrol. I'm sure Arnie is being reunited with dad and mom and his ski buddies now. I only new Arnie for the few early years as I joined PNP Ski patrol.I would sit down in the North patrol room getting ready for my shift and talk with him. What a special person I knew he was with a smile that warmed my heart on many frigid winter ski shifts.Even though I knew very little of this great skier I aspired to be like him and enjoy helping others as much as we loved flying down the snow covered slopes. May God bless this wonderful man,and all of you that will miss him as I do!

Susan, Lisa, Steven & Family; I am so sorry to hear of Arnie's passing. I have thought of him often since he left Jamestown and wondered how he was doing.
