I will always remember her smile, and great humor. Her concern for the less fortunate, and her continued support of senior adults. The "washer" skit launched our life long friendship. RIP Dottie.

Dear Valerie
I got to know your mom while she was a roommate of my former neighbor of 50 years while at Tanglewood. She was a lovely lady and we had several very nice conversations - most about you. I am so sorry for your loss, but we know she is in a much better place and no longer suffering. I was shocked to find out that her cousin, Dianne Bourque, is a friend of mine (my husband and Al were best buddies) and we use to see she and Al every summer - and in fact visited them in Florida a couple of times. Again, please accept my sincere sympathy.

Dear Brenda and family,
We are so sorry to see that Dottie has passed. We enjoyed getting to know her while she was at Tanglewood. She always was so pleasant, with a smile on her face. She seemed to watch out for my mother and they were good roommates.
Please accept our sincere condolences for your loss.

Mom will surely miss Dottie, from their school years to their senior years. Mom had such happy memories of Dottie of their childhood and in past recent years sharing an afternoon of card playing. When we would bring mom to Tanglewood there was never a dull moment between the two. She will be missed.

Dottie was a very special lady . I will miss her at church and am thankful for her jokes, hugs, and love. She was a second Grandma to me and made sure I knew that when my own Grandma passed away in September of 2012. I will never forget Dottie and her sweet ready smile.
