Obituary of Kay A. Jarrett

Kay A. Jarrett, 72, of 107 Chautauqua Ave., passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at UPMC Chautauqua WCA. She was born in Jamestown on December 20, 1945, the daughter of the late Reuben L. and Mildred Noyd Jarrett. After receiving her nursing degree, Kay was employed in earlier years by the former Jamestown General Hospital and retired after 15 years with the Heritage Green Rehab & Skilled Nursing facility. She enjoyed the outdoors and camping. In addition to her longtime friend, Sharon Williams of Jamestown, Kay is survived by a brother, R. James (JoAnn) Jarrett of Frewsburg, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. A private family service will be held with the Rev. Donald E. Ray officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home.
