Obituary of Dianna L. Truver
Dianna L. Truver, 58, of Lakewood, Passed away Thursday February 22, 2018 surrounded by family at home. She fought a courageous battle of lung and liver cancer with help from many loved ones and friends.
She was born February 7, 1960 the daughter of John Paul Monroe and the late Anna Jane Timblin Monroe who died May 28, 1990. Dianna was a 1978 graduate of Jamestown High School. She had worked at Matco Tools and for 17 years at Strickland Optical Lab.
Dianna leaves behind the love of her life, her husband of 18 years, Mark. They were married April 17, 1999. Their journey together was amazing, full of so much love and so many life memories. In addition to her husband Mark, she is survived by her father of Jamestown; two daughters, Jeniffer Yanik and Ashley Truver Klice, both of Jamestown; two sons, Dustin (Lorinda) Truver of Jamestown; Eric (Jill) Truver of Busti; 13 grandchildren, Joslyn Eddy, Jaden and Juliana Yanik, Maryn Moore, Liam and Katie Klice, Jared, Elise and Dylan Coffin, Nolan and Leah Truver, Harper and Rae Lynn Truver; four sisters, Brenda Stohl, Kathy Nazzaro, Tammy (Todd) West, and Melissa (TC) Sven Thompson; two brothers, Steve (Debbie) Monroe, and Chuck (Sandy) Klienfeld; uncles, Doug and Punk Monroe; brother in law, David Truver; nieces and nephews, Jenny Truver, Brandon and Elijah West, Chelsea, Tre, and Kalee Thompson, Kimberly Stohl, Hannah Ramirez, Travis Monroe, Tricia Proefrock, Aaron Johnson, David, James, Mark, and Julie Mescall, and Timothy Duckett.
Dianna was so blessed with many many loving and supporting family and friends who stood by her and Mark every step of the way. Unconditional love from both family and friends she felt every day and drew strength from each and every one of them. They will all remain her monkeys. She loved all her team of monkeys. They were her rock.
Dianna lived her life to the fullest. A smile that will live on in many hearts. Dianna loved her furry family, and always had a furry love her entire life. Xena her German Shepherd was her queen.
Mark and Dianna spent 15 years camping at Homestead Camp Ground. So many memories were made with her loving and caring camp family. It was her passion to spend time with her summer camp family.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Debbie Monroe and SueAnn Mendrick; two brothers, Dave Mescall and Jack Monroe; her step mother, Peggy Monroe; her father in law and mother in law, Paul (Gumpy) and Donna Truver; brother in law, Scott Truver; and grandparents, Harley and Daisey Monroe and Howard and Freda Timblin.
Her strength and determination was unbelievably strong. Her faith in God carried her through all her health issues and battles.
A celebration of life and benefit for Dianna will be held on April 21, 2018 at the Llama Club in Ashville.
