My heart goes out the the family. I was privileged to work with Char for over 25 years at BOCES. Her love for those she worked with was boundless, her sense of humor spot-on, and her laugh was infectious. She was uniquely gifted in being able to understand a child and bring out the best in them. Her presence made those around her feel better. She will be missed. I feel so badly that I'm out of town and won't be able to make the service.

I love the picture you chose! She looks beautiful and she looks happy. I'm glad she's going to Heaven happy! I met Char in 1972 at King Manor Nursing Home, which was the first time we worked together. And then we ended up together at BOCES and friends for life. I could make Char laugh, altho it wasn't always easy. And she could crack me up because she was very smart and very sharp and most people didn't know how funny she was. I loved her dearly and i will never forget her. I will never forget all the Stow family You guys rock! Madeline
