Obituary of Henry L. Guelfi

Henry L. "Hank" Guelfi, Jr., 89, of the Old Fluvanna Road, Jamestown, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at the home of his son, Denis, in Angola, NY.

He was born May 10, 1928 in Bradford, Pa., a son of the late Henry L. and Mary Alvino Guelfi Sr.

Hank was employed as a sales representative by Jamestown Macadam. He was also a member of Ss Peter & Paul Church and the Moose Lodge. His favorite pastime was golf, which he enjoyed for many, many years.

Surviving are three children: Denis (Judy) Guelfi of Angola, NY, Patricia Mahoney of Burnt Hills, NY and Catherine (Louis) Vento of Townsend, DE; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; and a brother, James D. Guelfi of Bradford.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Norma Jean Paige Guelfi who died May 14, 2014; a daughter, Cynthia Ann Guelfi in 1979; and a son-in-law, Michael Mahoney.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Apostles Parish, Ss. Peter & Paul Church. The Rev. Dennis W. Mende will be celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery in Bradford.

The family will receive friends prior to the Mass from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home.
