Obituary of Russell T. Sanders

Russell T. Sanders, 78, of Metcalf Avenue, WE, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018, in his home. He was born April 24, 1939 in Logan, Ohio, a son of the late Hilary and Melvina Bolin Sanders. Russ was a self-employed area contractor for many years. He is survived by three children: Douglas (Marlene) Sanders, Scott Sanders and Kimberly (Jeff) Wiggers; four step-children: Jan (Darryl) Streed, Jacqueline Vincent, Joanne (William) Zahn and James Nohlquist; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; and a brother James Sanders. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce E. Nohlquist Sanders, who died January 22, 2016; a son, Keith Sanders and daughter, Karen Sanders; and two brothers, Armand and Kenneth Sanders. An informal gathering celebrating Russ' life will be held Sunday, April 29 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Lakewood Rod & Gun Club banquet room.
