Dearest Sonny.
I have put off adding a note cause I miss you so much and am having trouble verbalizing it. We have been a country apart for most of our lives but I have always loved you more than you know. Bob and Emily and I have been at your house and going through your treasurers. It is very hard. When I am back in Jamestown again, we are going to spread your ashes in the gully!!
I love you and miss you.
Your one and only sister!

So sorry to hear. In 1976 Sonny surprised us when came to our wedding in DC. I had coffee with him about ten years ago and loved hearing about his world travels. Unfortunately we lived too far apart to be close, but we were always “family” anyway. Godspeed.

I've known Andy [or Sonny, as he was affectionately called in the neighborhood where he spent most of his life], for over 30 years. He was a kind man without pretense, loved conversation, trivia, and spending time on his wooded property, which spanned several acres. He was very knowledgeable regarding the history of the land surrounding his home, and was always ready with a new fact. In his last years he could be seen frequently strolling the sidewalks, maintaining his strength and balance. A piece of the neighborhood is now missing. Will miss ya, Sonny.

Andy, we will miss you.
We will never forget your trip to South Africa and strangers from around the world that helped you get home again.
Trivia night will loose a great mind.
You left the BPU a better place.
You left us too soon.
Rest in Peace !!!

I knew Andy for a brief period of time when we worked together in the met lab at Blackstone. He was a kind human being with a great sense of humor; a very "genuine" human being... a "good man", a unique soul. Those of us who met him will miss him.
