Obituary of John L. Jose

John L. Jose, Jr., 39, of 119 Elizabeth Street, formerly of Charleston, SC, died unexpectedly Wednesday May 9, 2018, in his home. He was born April 27, 1979, in Tacoma, WA, one of eleven children born to John and Paulette Hicks Jose, Sr. He had been employed by Comprehensive Health Services as a Senior Systems Engineer. Through this company he worked as a private contractor for the United States Department of State in Iraq for over 5 years. He attended Zion Covenant Church and was a participant in We Believe. He was a huge fan and avid collector of anything related to Star Wars. He enjoyed writing in his spare time and had some of his work published. A natural born comedian, he had a passion for cooking, traveling and watching movies, but his greatest love was spending time with his family. He had a loving relationship with God and will be truly missed by all who knew him. Surviving are two daughter Jayna and Isabella Jose; six sisters; four brothers; former wife and best friend Kelly Jose and his dog Mara who was like a child to him.
