Dear Willow and family
I am sorry I was unable to attend your mom’s memorial today. That was a lovely picture of her. We always had so much fun when we would get together for lunches and dinner. She is with the Lord and your Dad now. It was an honor to know them.

Dear Willow, Gary, grandchildren, loved ones,
What a blessing your mother, grandmother and friend has been to us over the years. My brother, sister and I were young children when Allen and Valerie rented the country home next to us I believe in 1949 when he entered Houghton College. Allen would hike down to classes, Valerie would help my mother mind us children while she worked in her office. Mom painted Valerie's portrait as compensation for her hours spent in our home.
Years later we met again when the Wilcoxes reached out to us. We would stop by to visit them while traveling from the South to Houghton as often as we could. Their friendship was genuine, their love of family sure, their faith was firm. Their memory continues to bless us. We thank God for their lives and his care for them through family and friends.

I always enjoyed visiting with your mom and dad when they came to Cattaraugus.
It was good to see her at Mom Abramowski's 90th birthday last year.
The saints have welcomed them both home now.
"May their memories be eternal."
My love, June

A woman who survived a catastrophic event over 45 years ago went on to see her daughter marry, see her grandkids grow up and have great grandkids too. She spent almost her whole life with her husband Elmer and was a tireless worker throughout her career in the schools. I visited her a couple of times at the end, and am so glad she’s released from that horrific pain. Rest In Peace Val, you’re home now.
