My deepest sympathy to all members of cousin Joe Trussos family. He was my favorite among my Jamestown cousins. Upon hearing of his passing my first thought that he is with my brother Pete. As cousins they were like 2 peas in a pod. Thank you for always calling and keeping in touch. I’m sure God is smiling on you .

Always loved getting a phone call from Joe at the Dunkirk OBSERVER. Enjoyed talking county politics and hearing how proud he was of his family and their achievements.
Condolences to all.

We are so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. We enjoyed the many conversations we had with Joe as he would stop as he was driving past our house. He had such a warm heart and no matter what we discussed he always left us with a wonderful "God Bless You". Joe would talk often about his family and how proud he was of everyone. He had amazing wisdom and has truly been a servant for God as he showed love to us and so many others. He showed us that love is what is important in this life. I know your family is strong and will be able to lean on each other in this sad time and prove what Joe knew so well that after God family comes first.
We will truly miss Joe and his love and wisdom!

My deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Mr. Trusso. I have always known Mr. Trusso to be a true public servant to his family, his friends, his community, and his God. He worked tirelessly for others and always did it with a smile on his face, gentleness in his heart, and determination to be true to his convictions. I cherish all the times we talked as out paths crossed here and there. I will miss seeing him at the St. Joseph Table, and out and about at various Veterans' Day memorial celebrations. As we remember and mourn the loss of Mr. Trusso, here on earth, may we celebrate his well earned welcome into heaven. Rest in Peace, Mr. Trusso.
